Crystal

Front Office Patient Care Specialist

Crystal is our Front Office Patient Care Specialist. She has been in the eye care field for 17 years and has experience working in the Optometry field from such places as Leesburg and Bristow Virginia. She started working with Dr. Rana in March 2013 and has gained valuable knowledge and experience in the Ophthalmology field. Crystal enjoys working with our Patients and has a special talent for making them feel at home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her Family and Granddaughter, Carly.
Dee

Director of Clinical Informatics/Technician

Andrea “Dee” is in charge of integrating the latest of technologies for the best possible Clinical outcomes and Patient care. She has been in the Ophthalmology field since 2016 and with Northern Virginia Eye Institute since 2018. She spends her free time with Family and being a Girl Scout Leader for her 2 Daughters.
Tia

Director of Operations/Surgery Coordinator/Lead Technician

Tia has extensive knowledge in the Ophthalmology field with a specific skill set in guaranteeing that every Patient is informed about every possible options that is appropriate for the for Cataract surgery. She started in the field in 2000 and has been with Dr. Rana since 2011. She is responsible for making sure the Office staff is coordinated with each other and operating efficiently. When she has free time she spends it with her family and being a Basketball Mom/ Cheerleader!
Kay

Certified Ophthalmic Technician

Kay is one of experienced Technicians with extensive knowledge in Ophthalmology. She started with Northern Virginia Eye Institute in 2012, but has been in the Ophthalmology field since 1989. She enjoys spending time outdoors, her animals, and time with her Family.
Donnie

Ophthalmic Technician/Surgical Assistant

Donnie has been in the Medical field since 1975, where he started working in the Emergency Room as a Surgical Assistant. As well as working in the Office as our Clinical Tester, he assists Dr. Rana with Cataract Surgery. Outside of work, Donnie is an excellent musician and plays keyboard with his band The Side Men.
Yulian

Front Office Patient Care Specialist

Yulian is our Newest Front Office staff member, she started with our Practice in 2024! She utilizes her extensive 8 years of Customer Service to meet the needs of everyone who walks through the door. Yulian is bilingual and fully fluent in both English and Spanish! On the weekends she finds the most joy spending time with Family and Friends
